Abt my brain

while playing with Brain Works test, i am thinking of my brain and how i feel to it.
as much as i can feel it.
1. sometimes i dont use language to idealize and conceptualize
2. i can still see the object in Xray film form a few minutes while closing my eyes after i have seen it.
3. sometimes i become organized or not ( it keeps changing ).
4. sometimes i have some conflict bet what i feel and what i think.
5. sometimes i have some conflict in how to gather information and how to tackle the problem.
6. it takes time to integrate the information fully.
7. it takes time to reaccess the information that i need.
8. it is easy to step into one idea and step out of it.

Location based services

while watching the Batman movie, some thoughts came into me abt location services techniques. no doubt they use GPS in movie for location tracking of their targets. But we have different methods and measurements we use for localization. mesurements like Received Signal Strength, Time of Arrival, Angle of Arrival,Time difference of arrival...... methods such as broad names: radiolocation, trilateration, methods: Advanced Forward Link Trilateration(A-FLT), Timing Advance/Network Measurement Report(TA/NMR),Enhanced Observed Time Difference(E-OTD),multilateration or hyperbolic position ........ah...

thoughts from this afternoon: leading the educated

Should i write down, leading the learned or leading the educated? well that's another story. two of my colleages was telling abt their current working environment and their future prospects, finally got to debate that if money matters in everythings or not. from their sayings, i conducted some thoughts:
1. they think they should have priviledges over others cos they are highly talent.
2. they all have options not to do what manager says.
3. they feel that they have high impacts on others such as their followers and counterparts.
4. they think money does not matter if they are being praised.
5. they dont conceive of themself as followers. they conceive as if they are drivers of the organization.
6. they feel that they need some drain for their intelligent pool to flow into

the first day of my employment

doing some preparing for my assigned computer such as transering some of ebooks from my laptop, installing some of my favourite softwares as freemind, skype, visual studio for C++ and j2ee. reading some overviews over 802.16 mesh and pmp. trying out for Qualnet. things sucked when i didnt know that it was ready configured one trying to complie with VC++. how bad i was! not so sure this is where i belong to. but i still hope for that. my colleage said that i should have known my strong interest such as implementation or research and let it go that way or i will be a waste of time. ok i think implementation is more suitable for me now and then i will go for system integration. i need practical experience for my master plan.

what Bogoke said

when we plan our economy, dont let us confuse issues bringing into politics. i appreciate that economics and politics are intimatedly connected but let us keep out of politics for the moment. let us not indulge in attacks on imperialism, let us not look for excuses.

George Santayana

Those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it

the real wealth of a nation

the real wealth of a nation is its people-both women and men. and the purpose of development is to create an enabling environment for people to enjoy long, healthy and creative lives

Communication through Empathy

Are you born with empathy? Do you learn it? Where does it come from? Some people are born with it, but for most of us, it is something we must work at. It doesn't mean we are not concerned about other people, it means we really haven't thought through how to communicate that concern. the problems we are having is in getting our communications right!

I had a bad day!

listenting to " you had a bad day" by Daniel Powter. howwwwww i really had a bad day till now. to whom should i blame on. myself or my friend who made sure he could lead me out in Sentosa. he is such a guy who lied me and wasted my whole previous day and got my anticipations dowm. basically people out there regards him as a very helpful guy but he doesnt have ability to be helpful guy although he is keen on helping others........... we all friends were getting lost in Sentosa with his conducting. so bad........... anyhow i was thinking abt how i should avoid from happening like these things, taking the risks and abt differences bet emotional information and acutual facts. at least i met some of my friends from undergrad and got contacts with them. great! i realise that myanmar are being still influenced alot by relationship. now readinig news and business aricles from strait times.

my thoughts on personal framework

I am thinking of some personal framework regarding my previous knowledge and readings from “ The Army Leadership Framework”. The main characteristics of my framework is
1. Character (what u must be)
2. Competency (what u must know)
3. Habit (what u must do)
Character is personal inner strength that can be seen through ur behaviors such as ur speech, gesture and manners. Ur character should be consistent and completely different from others. Competency is such a form of knowing relevant knowledge and intelligence driven from this knowledge. Skill = knowledge + intelligence in term of interpersonal, conceptual, tactical, technical. Habits are day-to-day actions that must consist of such objectives as influencing, operating and improving.

some thoughts on integration!

while i am studying for Master, i heard a lot of integration such as factory integration, equipment integration and computer integrated manufacturing, integrated architecutres of ...................... ok if there's no integrations then what?
1. how to do information collection and management.
2. how to do real time information manipulation.
these two facts are most essense of automation islands. fully automated means real time information awareness and manipulation over them without human help.
well what abilities and preparations should we be ready?
1. proper organization.
2. proper plans and mile stone points.
3. clear visions
4. system wide implemenation knowledge
5.diverse expertise of technologies concerned with integration
6.HQ support
7.training of operators

how do Myanmar believe?

how we believe? ok as much as i know

you dont believe if i tell u.
u dont want to believe if i show u some results.
u want to believe if ur friends tell u.
u believe if ur family members tell u.

Java on chip

Thinking abt java on chip cos I enclosed abt my knowledge of it in my resume. Do I really dip into enough to describe my expertize. Well it is not so important cos it is now in Singapore (the symbol of Orchid). Well most want to use java on chip. Why?
1. oop based programming environment which provides well defined software implementation structure and programming reuse.
2. Platform independent. I think they are targeting to develop the application which is devices independent (without recompiling and doing re-verification to migrate other device platforms)
3. Pro of VM execution environment such as security checks and on the fly debugging.
4. Abstract nature of java which makes it extremely portable.

But it cant be used in every embedded system development. Why?
1. I doubt that it met with strict limitations of hard real time system.
2. Java is basically defined on 32 bit platform.
3. The size of all VM + application code + API codes + necessary library source.

Character Building

do u think personal behaviour is just a biological imperative? no! it is not. it begins in our minds, get expressed in words and then get translated into action. over time, those actions become who u are and what u repeatedly do will determine the legacy u leave behind. of course the legacy u leave is the life u lead. so personal behaviour is not just abt "how to's". it is character building processes. it is personal culture formation that will lead and reflect ur next generations.

1. developing cisco ip phones services
2. voice enabling the data network
3. practical service level management.

consequences of being hack of Skype

thinking abt news of one chinese company cracked Skype and cloning one client. for our users' side, it is not taking easy alarming coming prospective threats. may be for chinese users', Skype can be shut down for good to the worst. for chinese gov and myanmar gov, it will be good news to block infomation freedom. sorry myanmar gov wont be too tough in this case cos they finally reallow gtalk then. how's 14 million users around Middle east, East and South Asia, Africa? will they move to new clients applications. Local IDD call company may think they hit jackpot and Skype will be completely swipped out by them? after all how's Ebay stock? their decisions on saving Skype will affect their stock? i dont think Skype's income wont contribute much to their stock.

Push or Pull

now Market, Inventory and others kinds of Economic ingredients are changing to paradigm of Pull. so our engineers who will serve the customers with technology need prepare for this idea shift. well how? Pull concept is giving out what customers want and not what we intend to make or what we have done. sometimes it is painful to us to change what our focus in accordance with customer's desires. i am thinking that we need buffer place where mixed Pull and Push ideas reside bet customers and our technicians.

BURMA, Insurgency and the Politics of Ethnicity

Reading that book by Martin Smith. great book for me! dangerous book for me! like they said: i am agree to the fact that this is indispensable for Myanmar's future leaders. but not like they said: i cant get the central idea of our problems. i feel so sorry for them ( our blooded brothers ). i feel lonely myself for not knowing abt them well ( i feel surely that they wont love me as a brother ).Bothers of Myanmar! i am sure and i vow that i will do for u all to compromise.

Me? Myself? My childhood?

Some asked me my childhood life! uhhhhh! Full of desperate!!!! Called me Gay! by techer Daw San San and U Balu in 8 standard Selfish! Fatherless dunce! by a friend, Phone Phyo in 5 standard, Dying Jerk! Brainless Free Thinker! Moonshine in Bamboo! by teacher Daw Li Li in 5 standard.

By myself! from childhood, i have had the capacity for hardwork. may be partly linked to my grandfather, grandmother and mother who were very driven and hardworking people. partly also because as a child i was struggling with my teachers and friends while proving them i was a trimph over their critics. the whole challenge of doing ur homework for ur exams while fighting together for our family financial crisis is an extraordinary character building process. at that time, i was still small in a literal sense. but i was not small in my vision and my impact on the environment. i was not small in my aspirations.

At my personal level, my mother remains my hero for all sorts of reasons. at the educational and professional level, i have tremendous admiration for Eistein and Feynman.

Jerk! Phyco! Dunce!

About fourteen years ago, Physics and Scientific thinking was nothing to me, it was a new thing. it became rooted in me. but at the same time, i behaved and thought differently and that leaded my friends and family members call me jerk, phyco and dunce. by the age of 17, i was having deeply feeling for being oppressed. i was not a scientist but i know how they do and think in the next world. i wish i would meet them.

now it is growing big ( my style ) . all i want now is being satisfied with my thinking over nature matters and engineering matters. it's gotten large. i can have fun with it and get benefits from it. And those friends and family members of me were dissing it ( they called revoluationary thinking or jerk thinking ), i dont know what they're going to do. they said i was just a kid who put out some causal style and all would be gone within two months. now i am able to prove that all who thought my style was a passing phase have it all wrong. now it is my turn that i need to educate them and open their eyes.

East & West

Collective and mutual responsibility------individualism
Authoritarianism, paternalism and abolutism------self-determination
Inequality and hierarchy------equality before the law
Subjects------citizens
Duties------rights

what kind of way do i choose?

The path i've now chosen is full of challenges! But it is one of the most consistent with my character and my courage as a man who does what he must -----in spite of personal consequence, in spite of obstacles, dangers and pressures-- and this is the basis of human morality. the cost of my aim is too high. But i have always paid it. one sure path that i never choose. that is the path of surrender and submission.

Who shif(s) my life? u? me myself? who else? or A situation or A sentense? i dont think no one can shift me including myself. but i have been shifted. so i have been being shifted by no subjects? no ! all i have been doing are due to sound reasons. arr gee
what i am talking abt? now i know i have been shifted by idea which i believe is right! i am living with it, for it, in it. i hate those technical literate with no philosophical background.

are u making the most of yourself? it is the most difficult question to ans. most of the time, the ans is ended up with two sides. one side from being questioned and others from the other side. the former's ans is no, but the latter's one is yes. according to this rule, it can be said simple system. but it is not like that in the real society, a kind of complex system. it will have positive feedback and negative feedback bet yes or no ans and personal interest. from this rule, society interest emerge. so i want to say it is one kind of multiple factors, decentralised control emergence property. Posted by Picasa

dont tell me modest

i am telling myself " bo bo, modest modest" should i be? i dont have conflict resolution strategy for that. but i am crying for i cant not be modest. i am not algorithmatic man but heuristic guy. things are burning in my brain. new things are coming born but they are not ripe yet in my mind. i dont want to design something which i cant analyse. but i am doing them in my exam. i command myself to throw all my personality into what i am doing. but why the world is always telling me modest modest. i hate that.

Real Taste of Real Man

some of my friends talked abt the things what make real men. we all men have dreams to be real men: real lovers, real husbands, real fathers, real dudes, real boss, real leaders and above all real sexy. we have different approaches to different destinations. but most of the time we become stuck at the middle of the ways. why? cos we lack something which is the essense of universal truths. that is the honesty that integrates science with philosophy, psychology, and physiology together. When a man understands the point at which everything has to link together, he will feel a powerful difference in his life. When the man strives for fully integrated honesty, he gains all the characteristics that make a man a "real man".

how manufacturing company operates!

how will u call if a giant manufacturing company doesnt manufacture anything, doesnt do anything for services and other company does operation management for it. all manufacuring and operations are fully outsourced or partially done. above all, supply chain is also outsourced. but it still gets large share of profit. how do u feel to name that sort of company. i dont know how to name it. here people are looking up to that model. as a myanmar, i feel lu lae kyi ha ha

I had the best experience of my life when I had the opportunities to meet some of my role models at NTU. They are so inspirational, very friendly but so rigid with their opinions. I have got seen two greatest scientists speech fighting among the audience for their belief. I have seen many secondary school boys and girls question shooting skills to the American Security Specialist abt the Middle East till he was stunned. How do I owe you, Mr. and Mrs. Singaporeans? Thanks. I like what Robert B. Laughlin the Nobel Laureate from the Department of Physics at Stanford University said to me Every challenge is an opportunity! Science is free, we have right to think free! You see these two scientists. Thats beauty of science! Thanks Saya, you make me enlightened what is science and what is right?

braingstroming that has been used in past 70 years. but i never seen the end result before. so credible for its collaborative nature. i think we can exploit from that when we are less informative for particular problem. but just a big mesh for me when i have enough information and am being in the blue mood.

i am going on my first heavy weight struggle. it is really hard. but i am also looking forward to future contests. but i think it is more possible than i ever imagined. first i believe in me, set goals, develop plans, personalize and modify the program as my efficiency and stagmina respond, all in stick with it. i prepare myself that eveyone in my long way will not be supportive and understanding. i may encounter jealousy when i become success. i am being up front with my family and friends. but i believe that one they become to realise what i am going towards and why. they will support my goal and my motivation network will increase. i am sure i am worth it! Posted by Picasa

i cant believe my eyes when my friend show me these photos. it is me and my friends. now we all are aways from the mother land except one. i miss u all friends. we will one day go back to ours and serve the land.

Never-ending time!

i used to think that my school days in myanmar including the university days and B.E.H.S days were just a dream of my life cos i had never inspired the raw knowledge got from them and friendship i thought that had been already broken among stds. they might have been my prejustification! i thought they were ended up without meaning.
last night, my long lost friends come to meet me here and we talked abt the our childhood days that how we inspired each others and i happen to realise how completely out of kilter i am with my former thoughts.......................

the word that makes my life short!

i am myanmar and inherently i got the dellima of "saying Yes". i just want to say no but "yes" always comes out of my mouth. when my friends out there ask to borrow money for lunch and if they ask me explain abt the manufacturing strategies, the internetworking and political economics, it may not be likely the problems within these contexts. but yet to the others, "yes" is the most dillema for me. according to my working nature, i need the long term plans and strategic goals for the determined future. so i always make them up, but when it comes to the day-to-days, i couldn't get the things ( priorities ) done. i know "Yes" can make my focus diffuse and only "No" can let me concentrate on my priorities. but i couldnt simply accomplish to say "No". why .......
